They had so much fun this week reading different Mother's Day stories. They did a great job making predictions, inferencing, using evidence from the text to answer questions, and retelling. They are really showing that they are ready for first grade!
In math this week, students focused on fractions and fact families. They are doing a tremendous job with both. They've impressed me once again! They also practiced counting coins, making patterns, addition, place value, and number stories.
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
