Dr. Seuss week was so much fun! We enjoyed reading many of his stories as well as completing fun and challenging Dr. Seuss literacy, math, and art centers.
We also began learning about fish this week and will continue to read fiction and non-fiction stories about them next week.
Our main literacy focus lately has been author's purpose and finding the lesson in the story. The students are doing a wonderful job.
In math we wrapped up our unit on multiple ways to make a number and part part whole. The students did pretty well on this very challenging unit. We also practiced harder addition problems, completed a connect the dots, practiced graphing while reviewing shapes, and practiced using 10-frames to find teen numbers.

Abby's fantastic free write! I like Elsa. Her hair has a braid. She has lipstick. She has eye shadow and blue eyes.
Ariana running calendar time. :)
Alphabetizing Dr. Seuss words
Start a fire. Pull the fire alarm. Knock the chairs down. Take people's shoes off. Won't listen to the teacher.
