Another fun and busy week down. These students are officially 100 days smarter and had a great time celebrating that. We read many books about the 100th day and the students enjoyed making connections to the students in the stories. We also focused on reptiles this week. The students learned a lot about types, characteristics, and cool things they can do. They did a wonderful job using the information from the text to fill out a Can, Have, Are chart. We also completed a Venn-diagram together comparing and contrasting birds and reptiles. I was extremely impressed with the students knowledge and understanding of the task. In math, we our wrapping up our unit on multiple ways to make a number. The students are doing a great job with this challenging unit. We also completed lots of fun 100 day math activities, like number grids to 100, sort 100 objects, and coloring in a 100 grid to find a hidden image. Enjoy the adorable pictures below!
