![]() What an exciting day we had. Besides the super fun Halloween and fall centers, students also got to carve a pumpkin today. Each student was able to feel the pumpkin pulp, take out a few seeds, estimate the number of seeds, and vote on the shape of the jack-o-lantern face. The students are also super excited to try a pumpkin seed tomorrow and to bring one home to grow. Below are the class estimates. Can you guess how many? Feel free to comment below. I will post the answer tomorrow. ![]() In addition to our awesome pumpkin filled day, we were also lucky enough to have a visit from another community helper! Evangelia's dad, a firefighter, came to class to show the students his tools and talk about fire safety. The students learned a lot, and had tons of fun trying on all of the gear.
