Look at these adorable cuties!!! I loved all of their costumes! They were so excited for their party and worked very hard to earn it.
With only 5 weeks left, the students are working hard to get ready for first grade. I have already told the first grade teachers how unbelievable this group is.
In reading, we continued to work on making connections, retelling, comparing and contrasting, and making predictions. The students loved our unit this week on Eric Carle. They enjoyed learning about how he made his illustrations and reading so many of his wonderful stories.
In math, students practiced addition and subtraction, finding 1, 10, and 100 more and less, measuring, place value, and writing numbers over 100.

5/27 - Memorial Day - No School
5/31 - Special author visit (more info to follow)
6/7 - Field Trip!
6/21 - Kindergarten Celebration (graduation @ 9:15ish) Picnic in the park following
6/24 - Last Day - full day

I was so impressed with these projects. Students made their own craft to display multiple ways to get to the same number.
