This week we celebrated Earth Day, and learned about the importance of caring for our Earth and the different ways we can help. We read many stories and made lots of text-to-self and text-to-world connections. The students also wrote some fantastic papers about the different ways they promise to help.
In math, we wrapped up our unit on attributes. The students did a nearly perfect job on the test. Students also practiced addition problems, using tangrams, finding odd numbers, carrying, and simple multiplication.
