You should have seen their faces when I told them they would actually get to meet a couple of these helpers! Sargent Eberlin and Nurse Jeffords came in to talk to the students about their jobs, tools, and health and safety tips. What a great experience!
Students enjoyed reading about the different helpers, writing about what they wanted to be when they grew up, matching tools to the helper that uses them, and working with friends to put together a firetruck puzzle.
The students' writing is incredible! I am so proud of them. Their reading is impressive too! Keep up the good work at home. :)
In math, students worked on writing and ordering numbers to 20, practiced making more and fewer, were introduced to number words, and made ABB patterns.
